NAI Platform’s Annual Awards: Celebrating Our 2024 Superstars

We’re very excited to announce the winners of NAI Platform’s annual awards! Each year, we take time to recognize the team members who go the extra mile for our clients, partners, and colleagues. This year’s honorees are James “Jay” Verro, CCIM, as our Listings Leader; William “Felton” McLaughlin, CCIM, SIOR, as our Sales Volume Leader; and Rebecca Porsia, who’s taking home the Service Excellence Award. These three professionals have truly raised the bar in commercial real estate, and we couldn’t be prouder to spotlight their achievements.

James “Jay” Verro, CCIM – Listings Leader

Jay’s knack for landing top-notch listings really sets him apart. Throughout his career he has cultivated relationships and prioritized a level of customer service that gives him the ability to regularly secure listings throughout the Capital Region. This year, his commitment and know-how put him at the very top when it comes to securing new listings. Jay’s success isn’t just about numbers, though—he’s also known for his warm personality, genuine respect for clients, and a tireless work ethic. Whether he’s touring a medical office space or negotiating a lease, Jay brings energy and insight to every listing he puts his name on.

William “Felton” McLaughlin, CCIM, SIOR – Sales Volume Leader

Felton’s name is practically synonymous with impressive dealmaking. He can swiftly size up opportunities, guide clients toward smart decisions, and then seal the deal with expert negotiation skills. This year, his high sales volume speaks for itself, however, Felton also has a gift for building strong relationships that last well beyond the closing table. Clients consistently highlight his reliability and creativity in overcoming any challenges that come his way. He’s made a tremendous impact on our company and CRE industry across the Capital District. We’re thrilled to see him claim this honor.

Rebecca Porsia – Service Excellence Award

As our Accounts Payable point person, Rebecca is someone everyone loves working with—she’s organized, caring, and always ready to lend a hand. This year’s Service Excellence Award highlights the commitment to excellence she brings to every interaction, whether she’s making sure invoices are paid on time, coordinating with our CFO, or helping track down expenditures. Her positive attitude and attention to detail help keep even the busiest days running smoothly, creating a welcoming and efficient experience for everyone at NAI Platform.
