Sausto is an attorney and commercial real estate broker with NAI Platform specializing in corporate advisory services and all aspects of investment real estate. Corporate advisory services include the structuring of sale-leaseback transactions, operating expense lease audits, tax certiorari, strategic planning, and assisting property owners maximize the return on their real estate assets. Sausto has become known for achieving value for parties to transactions through innovative planning, including structuring charitable remainder trusts, bargain and sale transactions, lease restructuring, cost segregation analysis, utilization of various tax credit programs as well as economic incentive and development programs. Sausto has become a leader in the 1031 tax deferred exchange market. He has an extensive background in Land Use Planning and has assisted and partnered with developers on municipal approvals for over 1,000 residential units and hundreds of thousands of square feet of commercial space, achieving zoning changes, writing Environmental Impact Statements, analyzing investor vs. dealer capital gain issues, securing sewer and water extensions and conducting land swaps and environmental remediation projects.
Sausto received his bachelor’s degree from Boston College and his Juris Doctor from New York Law School.
